Earlier this year we were excited to reveal our new logo and branding. As our company continues to grow and evolve, we felt it was time to refresh our brand identity to better reflect who we are and what we stand for. Our logo is a modern and sleek design that represents our commitment to innovation and excellence. Featuring a lotus flower as a symbol of resilience and a soft colour scheme that reflects one of our main points of difference that we are a predominantly female based team in a male dominant industry we believe the new look mirrors our energy and passion for what we do.

Our team worked hard to create our new website featuring a modern design, easy navigation, and updated content that provides a comprehensive overview of our offerings. We believe that our new website will help us better serve our existing and prospective customers and provide a more enjoyable browsing experience.

In October we were thrilled to introduce our first official edition of ”Resilient Insights”, Resilient Services Monthly Newsletter! As a company deeply committed to providing innovative solutions for building resilience, we were excited to launch this platform to keep our readers informed about the latest developments in the field of business resilience, and the services we offer.

The past year has been an exciting adventure of work-related travel, taking our team members across the diverse landscapes of Australia. Including Sydney, Perth, Burnie, Hastings, Geelong, Cairns, Adelaide, Brisbane, Tasmania, Thursday Island and Melbourne, as well as international destinations like Singapore and Abu Dhabi, each place brought unique opportunities and experiences. Each location has not only enhanced our team’s professional endeavours but has also made a lasting impact on personal growth, making this year of travel an exciting and fulfilling chapter for our company.


In 2023, our diverse clientele expanded to include three major ports in Australia, universities, the Torres Strait Regional Authority (TSRA), and engagements in flood reviews and Part 7A audits. Partnering with key players in the maritime industry, educational institutions, and government bodies, we continued to provide tailored solutions and valuable resilience insights.

On November 8th, a significant outage hit one of Australia’s major telecommunication networks, serving as a stark reminder of the vulnerability businesses face to unforeseen internet disruptions. However, by implementing a robust Business Continuity Plan (BCP), you can substantially minimise the impact of such incidents. A meticulously crafted BCP identifies critical functions, establishes connectivity redundancy, outlines effective communication strategies, and prepares for data backup and recovery – all essential components for fortifying business resilience.

There has been an increased a surge in cyber threats, underscoring the heightened importance of robust cybersecurity measures. As most industries increasingly integrates digital technologies, there arises an urgent need to invest in comprehensive prevention, detection, and response capabilities. Emergency Management for Maritime Summit

Our esteemed Managing Director, John Gawne, chaired the 7th Emergency Management for Maritime Summit in Singapore on November 8th and 9th. During the event, he delivered two impactful presentations. The first covered strategic design and planning of emergency management for ports, maritime organisations, oil rigs, and vessels. The second presentation focused on a concise cyber response playbook, a three-page document mobilising Crisis, Emergency Management and Business Continuity, IT, and Communication’s Teams.

Bushire Mitigation Workshop

In the realm of bushfire mitigation, collaboration and understanding are pivotal. The pitfalls of making assumptions about stakeholders were evident in a workshop we facilitated where initial beliefs about an environmental group proved incorrect. This case underscored the risks of hasty conclusions and highlighted the importance of the “seek to understand and then be understood” principle for avoiding misinterpretations and fostering effective collaboration in bushfire mitigation.

Closure Dates

As the festive season approaches, we want to inform everyone that our office will be closed for Christmas to allow our team to spend quality time with their loved ones. Our closure dates will be from 12noon 22nd December to 8th January.
